Elon Musk did not want mandatory military service under apartheid South Africa, so he moved to Canada in nineteen eighty-nine where he attended Queen’s University for two years, studying economics and physics.
He obtained Canadian citizenship.
Before he went to college, however, Musk did odd jobs as his move to relocate was not well thought out, and the uncle he intended to stay with had left the country by that time.

After Pennsylvania, Musk then went to Stanford University in California to pursue a PhD in energy physics but dropped out only two days later to join the booming internet industry.

In twenty sixteen, he became the majority shareholder in SolarCity Corporation.
A year later, Musk launched The Boring Company, a company devoted to boring and building tunnels to reduce street traffic.
Personal Life
Musk’s first marriage to Justine Wilson was in the year two thousand. Musk first met Justine, an aspiring writer at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.
The two had six children together and sadly their first son died in two thousand and two at 10 weeks old from sudden infant death syndrome. They divorced in two thousand and eighteen.
Musk married actress Talulah Riley in twenty ten. They split in twenty-twelve to re-marry in 2013. They ultimately divorced in twenty sixteen.
